Wider weather episode
Scattered thunderstorms developed in the afternoon of July 24, 2023 and produced isolated large hail and localized downburst winds across central and eastern Minnesota. The largest hail occurred in Dakota County, where golf ball size hail was observed near Hampton, along with wind damage near Rosemount.
