As low pressure moved across western South Dakota through Nebraska, cool air pushed into the region and changed a period of rainfall during the morning to light to moderate snowfall during the late morning and afternoon. Snowfall was generally from 1 to 3 inches near and east of the Missouri River, with up to 5 inches across the higher elevation of Gregory County.
