Peak gust of 81 mph occurred at the Halleck Ridge (WY18) WYDOT sensor 7 miles northwest of Elk Mountain at 12:24 PM on February 24th. Multiple other gusts between 70 and 80 mph were reported in this zone.

This was a long duration, CWA-wide high wind event including nearly every zone in the NWS Cheyenne CWA. Sustained winds between 40 and 60mph were seen, along with gusts over 80mph.
