Arctic high pressure brought a cold airmass over northeast Wisconsin late Monday night (2/17) into Tuesday morning (2/18), causing air temperatures to fall to 10 to 20 below zero. West-northwest winds of 10 to 15 mph allowed wind chills to fall to 30 to 36 below zero across portions of north-central, central, and east-central Wisconsin.
