The combination of below normal air temperatures, breezy winds, and nighttime radiational cooling led to minimum wind chill (or feels'-like temperatures) between -15 and -30 degrees Fahrenheit. The lowest of these air temperatures and wind chill values occurred at the highest elevations of the Southern Green Mountains.
