Wind gusts near 60 mph caused minor damage across the county. One report indicated shingles and a gutter blown off an apartment building in Wood River.

A strong storm system developing across the region led to strong southeasterly winds. While severe thunderstorms also developed during the evening, these strong winds occurred in advance of the thunderstorms during the afternoon. Reports of minor damage to trees and structures were received across the region.
