A CoCoRaHS report of 6.5 inches of snowfall 7 NNE Ludell was reported. Additional amounts of 5 inches was reported in 7 NNW Blakeman, 1 S Atwood, and 1 N McDonald. Four and a half inches of snow was reported in the town of Atwood.

Wider weather episode

Heavy snow developed across most of northwest Kansas during the evening on the 11th and continued through the morning on the 12th. The highest snowfall amounts occurred in Wallace county where the public and emergency manager reported 6-7 inches of snowfall in the town of Sharon Springs. Another 6.5 inch snow report occurred 7 NNE Ludell as well.
