Light precipitation, including some freezing rain and sleet, resulted in trace amounts of ice and patches of unmeasurable sleet accumulations according to the CoCoRaHS observer in Mount Pocono. The greatest freezing rain measurement was 0.02 at the Pocono Mountains Municipal Airport.
Wider weather episode
Light precipitation overspreading a cool airmass resulted in some areas of light wintry mix, including some light icing in portions of the southern Poconos early in the morning of the 24th.
