A 40 foot tall, 10 inch diameter pine tree snapped about 10 feet up and landed on a house in Long Grove.

Wider weather episode

A strong QLCS brought widespread damaging winds and a couple of tornadoes to the area on the night of the 14th, particularly near and north of the I-80 corridor.
