A mixed precipitation winter storm led to the combination of zone average snowfall of 10.1 inches, zone average flat ice accumulation of 0.22 inches, and zone average liquid equivalent of 1.25 inches.

A complex winter storm impacted southern Vermont between February 15th and 16th, 2025 bringing snow, freezing rain, and strong winds. Snow accumulations ranged from nearly 7 to 10 inches across Bennington and Windham Counties with flat ice accreting up to 0.20 to 0.25 inches. By the event's conclusion, the total liquid equivalent across southern Vermont ranged from about 1.15 to 1.25 inches. The combination of heavy wet snow, heavy ice, and gusty winds led to significant power outages across the region, in addition to numerous motor vehicle accidents, road closures, and subsequent travel delays.
