Numerous reports of strong winds across Cheyenne County. Peak gust of 75 mph was observed just outside of Sidney Nebraska. Sidney ASOS reported a peak gust of 70 mph.

Wider weather episode

After a brief lull in the winds, even stronger winds developed mainly across the Interstate 80 corridor from southeast Wyoming into the southern Nebraska Panhandle early morning on March 14th. Strong gusty winds were observed further north as well.
