Several WYDOT sites reported gusts between 58 mph and 65 mph. The 65 mph gust was reported at Vedauwoo.

Wider weather episode

After a brief lull of the winds and after some snowfall across southern Wyoming. Even stronger winds developed mainly across the Interstate 80 corridor from southeast Wyoming into the southern Nebraska Panhandle. Strong gusty winds were observed further north in Niobrara County also.
