Heavenly Ski Area, Palisades Tahoe Ski Area, and Northstar Ski Summit reported a storm total of 11, 14, and 7 inches of snow, respectively, between March 5-7.

Wider weather episode

This winter storm came in a two-stage fashion, first as Pacific moisture is pulled into the Sierra and the second piece being a colder shortwave trough. The first portion had snow levels around 5500-6500 feet, with the second piece dropping snow levels to all valley floors.
