A photo showed a large section of metal roof panels that were blown off a farm outbuilding west of Momence.

Wider weather episode

Thunderstorms moved across much of northeast Illinois during the late morning and early afternoon hours of April 2nd producing heavy rain, localized flooding and localized wind damage. Additional thunderstorms moved across mainly east central Illinois in the mid to late afternoon, producing two tornadoes and isolated wind damage.
