A multiple vehicle accident was reported along US Highway 285 between Carlsbad and Artesia due to low visibility from blowing dust. Injuries were reported, but no further information was provided. Wind gusts were observed to be between 60 and 70 MPH in the area. The property damage cost is an estimation.
