A tree was reported down between Payner Saw Mill Road and Greens Run Road, closing the road in both directions.

A line of thunderstorms along a prefrontal trough approaching from the east late in the evening continued into northern West Virginia despite marginal instability. 35 kts of shear packed in lowest 3km was able to maintain the line of storms and resulted in several reports of damaging winds overnight.
