A power pole was downed and a structure sustained some roof damage at the 1700 block of Monroe road.
Wider weather episode
A round of severe weather impacted a portion of the south and southeast areas with swaths of wind damage, some significant, as a supercell storm tracked across the area late during the evening of the 8th. Additional storms developed during the morning hours of the 9th and produced hail.
