Numerous reports along with a video of dime to half dollar size hail occurring in the town of Burlington.

Severe thunderstorms developed in response to an intense storm system and moist air mass across the area. Penny to golf ball size hail was reported in Kit Carson and Yuma counties along with a landspout tornado near Kirk. A 61 mph wind gust was reported near Vernon.
