Numerous tree limbs and power lines were blown down in Hobart. A utility pole with a transformer was blown down at 2nd Street and Main Street.

Wider weather episode

Severe thunderstorms moved across northwest Indiana during the evening of May 15th producing widespread wind damage. At least 50,000 customers lost power in just Lake County.
