Trees downed along PA-198, near intersection with Brookhouser Road, on west side of Saegertown.

During the early afternoon through early evening of October 6th, a surface cold front moved eastward across NE OH and into NW PA. Along the front, a broken line of multicell thunderstorms and isolated supercell thunderstorms developed and persisted generally eastward in NW PA. These storms produced sporadic straight-line convective wind damage and severe hail amidst moderate to strong effective bulk shear, weak to moderate MUCAPE, and moderate DCAPE in the warm and relatively-moist sector.
