Event narrative

A few trees along with power lines were blown down in central portions of the county, including Rose Lane and Buffalo Hill Road.

Wider weather episode

A line of severe storms pushed across the region and produced damaging wind gusts that downed trees and power lines, and damaged several structures. Ahead of the storms, strong gradient winds also produced damage to a similar degree. One such incident resulted in a fatality in Vicksburg where a woman succumbed to an injury after she was struck by a large tree limb.
