A Mesonet Station RCDI4 reported a 51 knot thunderstorm wind gust.

Wider weather episode

On the afternoon of May 7, a shortwave moved across the area. A boundary draped along the highway 30 corridor along with the wave served as focii for thunderstorm development. One of these storms became severe and produced winds around 60 MPH in southwest Linn County.
