Wider weather episode

A cold front extending from low pressure centered over Iowa was draped across southwestern Louisiana early morning on May 21st. As an upper level disturbance swung around the southern periphery of a larger scale trough, it will forced the front southeastward through the local area. Modest instability and lift from this boundary was enough forcing to produce a few severe thunderstorms with large hail.
