Left moving northern cell moved across the northern metro, generating significant and prolonged hail ranging from 1 to 2.5 inches in size. The right moving cell moved southeast across the southern metro, causing some hail up to 1 inch and widespread wind damage down through Macon. Other areas which experience large hail included the Dade, Walker and Catoosa counties as well as the Dawson county area.
