WYDOT sensor on Interstate 80 at mile post 353 gusted 58 MPH as a line of storms moved through.

A shortwave moving across the area triggered thunderstorm development across southeast Wyoming and western Nebraska the afternoon of July 6. Storms produced both strong winds and damaging hail with a brief landspout ground circulation reported.
