WTOP reporter noted 1.5 to 3 feet of standing water underneath the 267 Toll Road at Hunter Mill Road.

Wider weather episode

Slow moving showers and thunderstorms amidst weak flow aloft resulted in flooding and flash flooding across portions of northern Virginia. Localized rainfall totals of two to four inches in about 90 minutes were observed along and north of I-66 towards the Potomac River.
