Nickel sized hail was reported in the Bluffton area.

Scattered to numerous thunderstorms developed across southeast South Carolina in the early afternoon hours near a subtle surface trough. The strongest storms impacted areas along the lower Savannah River, especially Beaufort County. A few of these storms became strong enough to produce large hail.
