A trained Spotter reported heavy rainfall of 1.50 inches falling in 45 minutes near SE 89th place.

A front was stalled across south GA with SW steering flow over the local area. Southwest steering flow, diurnal instability and high moisture fueled scattered afternoon thunderstorms, some of which became severe in the afternoon and early evening near the east coast where boundaries collided as a short-wave trough passed overhead.
