Spotter estimated accumulating hail that ranged from penny to mostly quarters and ping pong ball in size. Hail was still falling 8 minutes after it started.

In the afternoon of the fifth, a cluster of storms formed in eastern Colorado. As the storms progressed to the southeast, they formed into more of a line. This led to 70 MPH winds and hail up to 1.75 inches across parts of far eastern Colorado.
