The Emergency Manager relayed a report of trees down near Heard Road and Lower Bethany Road, and trees and wires down in the 1500 block of Lower Bethany Road and the 3000 block of Ball Ground Highway.

A line of thunderstorms moving quickly along a cold-front tapped into significant low level shear and instability to cause widespread and significant wind damage across swaths of north Georgia. Winds of nearly 90mph were observed even as the line weakened.
