Wider weather episode

On the 15th, the Quad State was positioned in the warm sector ahead of a Northern Plains low pressure system. In W Kentucky, effective shear was 40kts, MLCAPE was 1500-2000J/kg, and DCAPE was around 800-900J/kg. A capping inversion kept severe weather potential at bay but strong non-thunderstorm gusts damaged some tree branches in Paducah.
