Numerous trees and power lines were blown down near Samson. At least one auto accident occurred due to a tree in the roadway. No injuries were reported. Trees were also down along Highway 87.

A more potent summertime severe weather environment was in place across the tri-state area. Several reports of trees and power lines down were received across southeast Alabama.
