Thunderstorms developed across eastern Colorado during the afternoon of the 7th leading to hail and severe winds across Yuma county. Quarter size hail was reported around Yuma and wind gust of 77 mph was recorded at the Wray Airport. Thunderstorm winds blew down many power poles in the northern part of Yuma County.
