KAKE chaser reported lots of hail with mostly nickels but some quarter sized stones.

Wider weather episode

Thunderstorms quickly developed during the mid-afternoon hours of June 8th across south central and southeast Kansas. These storms formed into a line and pushed into northeast Oklahoma and adjacent areas of Missouri and Arkansas. Multiple reports of damaging winds and up to golf ball sized hail were received.
