Dime to quarter-sized hail fell near Herrick.

Weak convergence along with a well-mixed atmosphere and around 2000 J/kg MLCAPE broke through a weak cap and resulted in a storm which both developed and weakened rapidly. During the strongest updraft phase, an isolated instance of quarter size hail occurred.
