Prolonged, moderate to locally heavy downpours lead to widespread poor drainage and urban flooding with numerous roadways and residential roadways becoming inundated with standing water. Over the course of the two days, rainfall totals amounted to anywhere from an inch to three inches with isolated amounts of three and a half to nearly four inches in the Capital District. On June 6, one thunderstorm reached severe magnitude in eastern Duchess County, producing isolated tree damage on Deep Hollow Road.
