A house struck by lightning and caused a fire.

Several trough axes extending southward into northern Alabama and southern middle Tennessee from a stalled frontal boundary extending through the Ohio Valley into the Mid-Atlantic area. These trough axes interacted with an unstable atmopshere to produce a number of strong lines of thundestorms that moved from west to east across northern Alabama. Some of these storms produced damaging winds up to 60 mph.
