Event narrative

An estimated inch of snow fell in portions of Beaver county around Beaver and just north of Floris. There was at least one wreck around Beaver due to snow impacts.

Wider weather episode

A weak upper level system moved across the Panhandles late on February 16th through the morning of the 17th. This combined with a cold airmass and enough moisture to produce light snow amounts mainly across the Oklahoma Panhandle. Amounts were generally around one to two inches.
