Trees were knocked down in the southern end of the county, including Crossville, along County Roads 82, 75, and 51 and along state highway 227.

Wider weather episode

A large complex of strong to severe thunderstorms originating in the southern Plains pushed all the way through the mid South and Tennessee Valley on the 7th. The storms resulted in over 150 reports of wind damage in north Alabama.
