Beaufort County Emergency Management reported that a lightning strike caused a branch to fall out of a tree, striking an individual and resulting in minor injuries.

Isolated thunderstorms developed in the mid to late morning hours across Beaufort County near a weak front. These storms produced cloud to ground lightning strikes which resulted in a minor injury.
