Social media post on Facebook shows photos of several inches of standing water. Photos of cars driving through the water are also included. Report came from the intersection of Baldwin Blvd, Virginia Ave, and Morgan Avenue.

Thanks to plentiful moisture (PWATs between 1.6-1.9 inches) and embedded shortwaves aloft, scattered showers and thunderstorms led to heavy downpours, which caused isolated flash flooding in downtown Corpus Christi.
