Near zero visibility due to dust reported at intersection of Hwy 24 and 83. This extends for a half mile in each direction on Hwy 24 from the intersection with Hwy 83.

Wider weather episode

A developing low pressure system led to high winds across northwest Kansas gusting 55-58 mph. The wind also led to isolated blowing dust and dust storm conditions, primarily in Thomas county.
