Multiple sensors recorded wind gusts between 60 and 65 MPH. The Halleck Ridge WYDOT sensor on Interstate 80 recorded a maximum wind gust of 69 MPH at 9:56 PM MST on 10/19.
Wider weather episode
The usual southeast Wyoming wind prone areas were impacted by frequent high winds October 19 through October 20. A few other wind prone adjacent areas also briefly experienced high winds.
