Snow accumulations between 1 to 2 inches were reported across the area with very strong winds. Blowing and drifting snow were common during this event with gusts up to 73 MPH.

Wider weather episode

A Pacific storm system brought the first major snow of the season to the Snowy Range and the Sierra Madre Range. Total snowfall reported by area SNOTELs as high as 63 inches.
