Large tree branches were broken and small tree was uprooted by thunderstorm winds.

Wider weather episode

A surface low developed over Texas on November 24 and moved northeast across northern Louisiana into Arkansas on November 25. As the system progressed eastward, a warm front associated with the low lifted north across southeast Louisiana. The northward surge of warm, moist air increased instability and, combined with frontal lift, supported the development of a severe thunderstorm during the early morning hours.
