Winter Weather — Trumbull, Ohio

2025-11-09 to 2025-11-11 · Trumbull, Ohio

Event narrative

Low pressure moved through the region on November 9th, before shifting east into New England and lingering through the 10th and 11th. A period of synoptic snow associated with the low pressure occurred late November 9th into early November 10th with some light accumulations of under an inch. Behind this low, a lingering trough and an early season blast of cold air combined with northwest winds to bring accumulating lake effect snow, with snow peaking in intensity overnight November 10th into the early morning of the 11th. Heavy snow amounts were too localized and over a slightly longer duration (18-24 hours) to reach heavy snow criteria across the county, though a trained spotter in Southington reported 7.6 inches of snow. A member of the public reported 6 inches in Warren, with a spotter in Newton Falls reporting 5.6 inches.
