Snowfall totals were mostly near 4 across the southern half of the county, amounts near 5 to 6 were reported near and north of I-95. The highest report was 6.8 from Bear. There were several surface transportation accidents. At the Wilmington Airport, 13 flights were canceled and 24 more were delayed.

Wider weather episode

The first significant winter storm of the season brought widespread light to moderate snowfall accumulations to the region. The heaviest amounts occurred in northern Delmarva. Widespread 1-5 totals were reported across Delaware.
