A low pressure system that moved from Texas to Iowa produced snow, sleet and freezing rain across central and north-central Wisconsin. Precipitation occurred in two waves. The first was during the morning of December 24th and the second lasted from the late evening of 24th into the early morning of the 25th.
The storm produced ice accumulations of 1/2 to 1/3 of an inch, along with 1 to 2 inches of snow and sleet across central Wisconsin. Six to ten inches inches of snow fell in Oneida County in north-central Wisconsin.
