The continuing drought worsened this month with all of the counties listed above in at least extreme drought conditions (D3) by the end of the month. The counties of Walton, Holmes, Washington, Bay, Jackson, Calhoun, extreme northern Liberty, northern Gadsden, extreme northern Leon, extreme northern Jefferson, and extreme northern Madison worsened to exceptional drought conditions (D4) by the end of the month.
