Several reports were received of a funnel cloud just east of Pinedale. The funnel was clearly visible from town.

Wider weather episode

Strong thunderstorms developed as an upper level low pressure system approached the area. A funnel cloud, large hail, and severe wind were reported at various locations through the afternoon.
